About Dr. Michael Latzko

Dr. Michael Latzko is an experienced surgeon who earned his Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University School of Medicine. He’s based in Florida, where he works with Surgical Specialists, and he has years of experience. Dr. Latzko’s areas of specialization include minimally-invasive surgical treatment of diseases of the colon, stomach, bile ducts, pancreas and bowel, and laparoscopic hernia repair. He has received positive reviews from his patients on multiple occasions, and he hopes to have a long career of helping people as a medical professional.

Minimally-invasive surgeries, like those Dr. Michael Latzko, performs on a regular basis, are completed with multiple small incisions instead of one large incision. This reduces the required hospital stay, speeds up recovery time, reduces pain felt by the patient and lowers the rate of trauma to the muscles, nerves, and tissues.

Dr. Michael Latzko is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and fellowship-trained. He completed his general surgery residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey and he completed a fellowship in minimally-invasive and advanced GI surgery at the University of Florida.
